EasySolar: The new all-in-one solar power solution

The new products just keep on coming.

Welcome to EasySolar, the recently announced all-in-one solar power solution; combining an ultra-fast MPPT solar charge controller, an inverter/charger and AC distribution, all in one enclosure – with the minimum of wiring. What’s not to like!

BlueSolar MPPT 75/50: up to three strings of PV panels can be connected with three sets of MC4 (PV-ST01) PV connectors.

EasyPlus inverter/charger: EasyPlus 12/1600/70 or 24/1600/40Note: EasySolar using the EasyPlus 24/1600/40 is available now and the EasyPlus 12/1600/70 version in June.

The MPPT charge controller and the EasyPlus inverter/charger share the DC battery cables (included). The batteries can be charged with solar power (BlueSolar MPPT) and/or with AC power (inverter/charger) from the utility grid or a genset.

AC distribution: consists of an RCD and four AC outputs protected by circuit breakers. One output is controlled by the AC input and will switch on only when AC is available. An additional fuse box is no longer needed.

EasySolar also combines the familiar Victron PowerAssist technology; protecting the utility or generator supply from being overloaded, by adding extra inverter power when needed.

We hope you like EasySolar. I certainly do and would have chosen this over separate units, when updating my boat systems recently. If I could have read minds at Victron R&D, I’d have waited for EasySolar. The good news is – you don’t have to!
